The program will depict a violent era in the history of South Louisiana. Two encampments will be setup, one camp to portray the vigilantes and one group at the farmstead to portray the anti-vigilantes. Encampments will have various military and civilian activities going on through out the day including cooking and the firing of black powder weapons. Two encounters between the vigilantes and the inhabitants of the Farmstead will take place at 11:00 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. The movie Belizaire, which also focuses on this topic and was filmed in part at the site, will be shown.
