These mixed media collages are a combination of handmade 3D objects, found objects, and torn handmade paper to create imaginative images the viewer can enjoy. Artist Mary Louise Porters passion for intense, bold color, line, and shape are shown in the collages with the theme of Louisiana and travels woven into each artwork. Porter deliberately made the pieces accessible so the viewer can move around them, turn them and look inside of them.
