The Jeanerette Historic Preservation Foundation is holding a barbecue chicken dinner fundraiser on Sunday, March 11. Dinner tickets are $8 each and include a half of barbecue chicken, rice dressing and beans. Tickets are available at the chamber office or the Ward Eight Recreation Center. The foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the cultural and architectural preservation of Jeanerette. Cinderlla Project Accepting Donations

UL Lafayette AmeriCorps, The Cinderella Project and Raising Cane's are teaming up to collect prom dresses, shoes and accessories for the 5th annual Cinderella Project of Lafayette. Donations will be collected at any Lafayette or Broussard area Raising Cane's or the UL AmeriCorps office through March 9 during normal business hours. The Cinderella Project of Lafayette Distributes free prom dresses to Acadiana area high school girls who cannot afford them. …
