As the US Ambassador to Egypt from 1949-1955, Jefferson Caffery collected a variety of ancient artifacts while visiting several dig sights including the Valley Temple with Egyptologist, Dr. Ahmed Fakhry, and President Nasser of Egypt. As the US Ambassador to Egypt from 1949-1955, Jefferson Caffery collected a variety of ancient artifacts while visiting several dig sights including the Valley Temple with Egyptologist, Dr. Ahmed Fakhry, and President Nasser of Egypt. As the US Ambassador to Egypt from 1949-1955, Jefferson Caffery collected a variety of ancient artifacts while visiting several dig sights including the Valley Temple with Egyptologist, Dr. Ahmed Fakhry, and President Nasser of Egypt.
