Formerly the State School in Iota, the Arc of Acadiana has been designed to promote and protect the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.The Arc of Acadiana works to create a supportive local environment by giving opportunities to the individuals that they serve to make healthy, satisfying choices in their lives. This brings a further sense of self worth and enjoyment to their lives through social and entrepreneurial ownership.
