The Arc of Acadiana's 2012 Mardi Gras Bead Drive kicks off February 13 and runs until the end of March. Marked boxes for dropping off beads will be placed at all Lafayette Auto Dealer Association dealerships.
The beads will be collected, detangled, recycled and resold, all of which provide employment opportunities to the Arcs clients in Acadiana with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
