A native of Opelousas, Cutera made Lafayette his home after earning a BA degree in art at ULL (then SLI), and worked as the advertising/marketing director for Heymann's Department Store for over 50 years. Working in watercolors, oils and acrylics, his work is reflective of beautiful Louisiana, capturing the lush greenery and contrasts of the ever changing countryside.
